Libraries In Chakwal are not very common.

Chakwal is home to very few private and public libraries. Kalar Kahar lies at 2500 feet above sea level while Chehl Abdal stands at 3500 feet. Larri Pathan is another beautiful place in Chakwal. One group of Kakka Zai Pathans immigrated from Afghanistan to settle in Lari Pathan. Nearby is the famous temple-fort Katas Raj and Salt Mines of Khewra. Chakwal is well connected by road. There are roads to Jhelum, Lahore, and Pind Daden Khan via Choa Siaden Shah. Roads to Sargodha via Bhon, Khushab, and Rawalpindi via Mandra. Talagang road connects to Mianwali and Mianwali. It connects to GT road via Sohawa, Mandra, Indus highway via Mianwali and M2 Motorway via Kallar Kahar, Balkassar exits. Since the commissioning M2 Motorway, travel distances have been reduced significantly to Faislabad, Rawalpindi and Sargodha.
