Kallar Kahar
Kallar Kahar has positioned 25 km(15.5 mi) from the megacity of Chakwal, in District Chakwal. Kallar Kahar is notorious for Kallar Kahar Lake, Takht-e-Babri, and beautiful species of peacocks. Kallar Kahar Lake is a swab water lake, positioned at an altitude of 1500ft. above ocean position, spreads over an area of 8 km with a maximum depth of 4 to 5 ft. The notorious Mughal emperor Babur encamped in Kallar Kahar with his armies, when he was marching from Kabul to attack Delhi with his armies. During his stay, a throne was erected for him by cutting a big gemstone, where he addressed his army. latterly the throne was named “ Takht-e-Babri ”. It still exists in Kallar Kahar and works as a popular sightseer magnet. Bagh-e-Safa is a theater said to be planted by Babar. Babar himself appertained Kallar Kahar as a” fascinating place with good air” and natural beauty.
Katas Raj Temples
Katas Raj tabernacles are Hindu tabernacles in Kata’s villa near Choa Saidan Shah, about 40 km from Chakwal City. The tabernacles progressed back from the ages of the Hindu Shahis( 615- 950 CE) and are devoted to their lord Shiva. According to Hindu beliefs, Krishna himself laid the foundation of these tabernacles and made Shivaling in them. There’s a sacred pond amongst these tabernacles. According to a Brahmanical story, the pond was made by gashes in the grief of Shiva at the death of his woman
Sati. The Hindu pilgrims bathe in the pool to seek remission. The point, known as Satghara which means seven houses, firstly housed seven small ancient tabernacles and a Buddhist stupa. still, only five of the seven tabernacles remain a complete moment. It’s considered the most important Hindu passage point in Pakistan and still large figures of the Hindu community visit the point from within the country and abroad.
Swaik Lake
Swaik Lake( original names Narumi Dhan, Khandowa Lake) is a lake 10 km(6.2 mi) from the Kallar Kahar and 30 km( 19 mi) southwest of Chakwal along the Motorway. It’s a popular sightseer magnet and offers openings for swimming and diving. It can be penetrated through the M2 Motorway linking Lahore and Islamabad.
Malot Fort
Located west of Kallar Kahar at a height of 230 m( 757ft.), Malot is a vill in the Chakwal District, Punjab. The Malot Fort was erected in the 10th Century announcement and is affirmative of its nature and roots down to a combination of Kashmiri armature and Greek tradition. Chinji National Park is located near the Salt Range, about 130 km from Islamabad in the south. The area is characterized by sub-tropical foliage with numerous factory species of significance. The area is also a niche for hovered species of Urial.
Neela Wahn
Neela Wahn, Kallar Kahar is a beautiful natural cascade and lake, located at Khushab Road, near Kallar Kahar, Punjab, Pakistan. Neela Wahn is locally called” Chashma- Aab-e-Shifa”, because of its clean blue water like a demitasse. It’s popular because of its beautiful cascade, verdure, good hiking point, and swimming spot.
